Team GP need your help

The Bristol Grand Prix is only made possible by the incredible support from our volunteers. This year, we need more of you than ever to help us deliver what promises to be an amazing day of cycling for the city.

Sunday 8 July will see the Bristol Grand Prix once again take over the streets of Bristol and we need your support!

As a grass roots cycling event we rely heavily on the support of our local cycling community to give up small amounts of their time to help marshal the course.

Each shift is three hours long, and there are two shifts to choose from.

  • 07.30 — 10.30
  • 10.30 — 13.30

As well as being guaranteed a front row seat to watch some of the most exciting racing Bristol has to offer, you’ll also receive: food and drink, a limited edition Bristol Grand Prix T Shirt, and any other goodies we can get our hands on!

Our volunteer marshals do various essential jobs, including supporting the stewards at crossing points and ensuring both the general public and the riders are safe when crossing is taking place. You will also be a point of information and be able to explain to the general public what is happening, and the best way for them to navigate around the course.

Volunteering not only allows grass roots cycling events like this to continue to be held, but allows us to further engage with the general public and hopefully get them interested in what’s going on.

If you’re interested in becoming a Bristol Grand Prix volunteer then please respond with your preferred shift time and T-shirt size to Mat at: bristolgpvolunteers@gmail.com
