Bonus prize money for the Women’s Bristol Grand Prix podium
We want the best female racers in the UK to come to Bristol and ride in the race. To achieve that, we are offering cash prizes that are attractive to individuals and teams, so for 2018 the top three placed riders in the Women’s Bristol Grand Prix (not yet a National Series level race) will receive bonus cash making prizes the same as those in the National Series men’s race.
We want to demonstrate our commitment to women’s racing with this move.
Our aspiration is to host National Series races in Bristol for both men and women. We want to inspire the next generation of cyclists to take up the sport, and having a top-level Women’s race is a key part of us achieving that.
